Recent news claimed that Sylvester Stallone may no longer join the cast of "The Expendables 4" despite being the film's forerunner.

In an interview with Slash Film at the Fox party for the Television Critics Association, Terry Crews hinted that "plans might change after Oscar night" and that the 69-year-old former "Rambo" star might decide to leave the team for another project.

"Plans for the action sequel were made before Creed opened," the actor, who plays Hale Caesar in the past three "The Expendables" movie, dished. "Now Stallone has won the Golden Globe and been nominated for an Academy Award, and a 'Creed' sequel is planned."

The outlet went on to say that the "Rocky" actor might end up picking "Creed" over their project together where he portrays the role of Barney Ross, the Expendables leader.

"I have to say, with Sly, I think it looks like he's going to get an Oscar," the former "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" host said. "It's a matter of whether he'll be in it. If he got the Golden Globe, he got the Oscar, there's a lot more things that are going to be offered to him, but if Sly is in it, I'm in."

In the end, whatever Stallone decides on, Crews committed about giving him his support even if he is leaving the other cast of "The Expendables 4" behind. However, it was pointed out that is still not a concrete news since "Crews has not spoken to Stallone about it."

In the meantime, MNR Daily reported that there is no official word yet about the previous cast members who will be reprising their role in the upcoming installment of the movie. It was noted, though, that Pierce Brosnan, who got famous for his "James Bond" portrayal, will be part of the anticipated sequel.
