Xiaomi, dubbed as the "Apple of China," is about to unveil its upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi 5. But can the upcoming flagship device beat its inspiration Apple iPhone 6s Plus?

Recent Antutu Benchmark revealed that Apple iPhone 6s Plus is the best smartphone available in the market today.

According to Gekebench benchmarking tool, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus leads the rating with 132,620 points, which is 41 percent higher than the Huawei Mate 8.

The iPhone 6s Plus runs on dual-core A9 chipset paired with a 2GB of RAM, while the rest of Android flagships boasts higher RAM, First Post reported.

"The A9 chip is capable of gaming console-class graphics performance that makes games and other apps much richer and more immersive," according to Apple's website.

On the other hand, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 will run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Also, it would be the second smartphone to pack the said chipset, next to another Chinese phone manufacturer.

With that being said, it is still uncertain whether the Snapdragon 820 will deliver a better performance than of the A9 chipset.

Going by on the Xiaomi Mi 5's specs, the Snapdragon 820 has been reportedly paired with two variants of RAM and internal storage. The first would be 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, GSM Arena reported.

As for Xiaomi Mi 5 other rumored features, it will sport a 5.2inch screen display with 2K resolution while the Apple iPhone 6s Plus 5.5inch RETINA display with 1080p resolution and 401 ppi.

Both phones are said to feature a metallic unibody design. With rounded corners on the iPhone 6s Plus and a 2.5D glass back covering on Xiaomi Mi 5.

According to WCC Tech, Xiaomi Mi 5 will also support Apple iPhone 6s's Force Touch or 3D Touch pressure sensitive technology along with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

On the camera department, iPhone 6s Plus has a 12MP rear iSight camera with optical image stabilization, an upgrade from its predecessor, and a 5MP front shooter, Know Your Mobile reported.

As for the Xiaomi Mi5, it will have an 8MP on the front and 16 on the back. Camera sensors and other features aren't disclosed yet.
