In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on E! News' "Live From The Carpet" at the 2016 Golden Globes, the 31-year-old actress spilled the beans on the upcoming season's purported story arc, reported E! Online.

"Our brilliant creator Jenji Kohan has this amazing vision," the reality television star shared. "We just finished shooting season four and we're going deeper into the issues of these women and the criminal justice system and it's getting even more real if you can believe it."

She also took the opportunity to express how honored she was to be part of the show, which has been nominated by the award-giving body for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical.

"I'm so grateful to be a part of this show that's changed my life and has unprecedented diversity of women on television," Laverne told Seacrest.

After dishing out the "Orange Is The New Black" season 4 spoilers, the staunch LGBT advocate likewise addressed the show's supporters, saying, "I just want to do a shout-out to everybody out there who's watching who feel like your lives might..."

"...you're struggling with feeling like you're enough like your lives are treated like they don't matter. Your lives matter, your voices matter, your stories matter," she added.

In the meantime, earlier "Orange Is The New Black" season 4 spoilers suggest that overcrowding will be among the major challenges that the inmates of Litchfield will be facing, according to TV Guide.

"[The overcrowding issues] are going to carry over to every nook and cranny in our prison, believe me when I tell you that," star Kate Mulgrew, who plays the role of Red in the series, told TVGuide.com.

"What [creator Jenji Kohan]'s going to do that no other creator is capable of doing with such expertise is, she's going to make you feel overcrowded," she disclosed.
