'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Daryl Dixon And Glenn To Bid Farewell? Show Creator Robert Kirkman Teases Mid-Season Premiere
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 mid-season premiere is almost halfway until it finally returns on TV for its 9th episode, but the talks about the possible death of certain characters in the new chapter still remains a hanging question which has continued to make rounds in the headlines.
As for the previous and recent spoilers, the possible death of the two well-embraced characters Daryl Dixon and Glenn in the upcoming season is the most talked about.
In the "Walking Dead" comics, Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, was originally killed at the sixth season. However, the spoilers suggested that Norman Reedus' Daryl Dixon will be the one to face death in the new episode and not Glenn.
The flow of the spoilers about what might be in store for the characters as "The Walking Dead" episode 9 takes place has brought up several arguments in the social media, with fans debating as to who among the characters will die since the original story from the comics isn't exactly what the show creators are putting up on the series.
Besides dropping hints about the two characters, showrunner Robert Kirkman did not miss out teasing about the show's comeback, leaving fans the idea of how the next episodes of "The Walking Dead" season 6 will look like.
"Yeah, we actually don't get back to that for seven episodes or so," said Kirkman, according to Entertainment Weekly. "It's going to be quite a cliff-hanger. Nah, I'm joking, we pick up right in that moment."
He continued, "Alexandria is overrun. Rick and the kids are all covered in guts trying to get through the crowd. Everyone is where we last saw them, and things get worse from there."
Moreover, Kirkman has also hinted about the characters' survival in the upcoming episodes, wherein Rick's enemies will add up to the burden of fighting for their lives.
"Assuming some people survive, and it's a good bet that some do because they've already talked in the midseason finale that they're not planning on leaving Alexandria." said Kirkman.
The answers to the questions will soon be revealed as "The Walking Dead" season 6B returns on February 14, Sunday on AMC.
