'Dragon Ball Super' Manga News: The Fight Continues; The End Of 'Resurrection F' Champa Saga Begins

"Dragon Ball Super," a manga adaptation by Toyotaro who was responsible for the hit Manga series "Resurrection F," has completed its 26th episode titled "A Chance of Victory in a Pinch! It Is Time For A Counterattack, Son Goku!"  which was aired last January 10.

In the "Dragon Ball Super" manga, a sequel of the "Dragon Ball Z" anime series, Goku and Vegeta trained under Whis. Though both have the urge to kill their strongest enemy, Vegeta has much of that desire to defeat Lord Frieza, who he saw destroyed his planet, killed his father and had enslaved him at the beginning.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 27 will come into view, with Vegeta hitting the battle field as he stops Frieza from killing Son Goku, who apparently becomes weaker after being shot by one of Frieza's henchmen Sorbet.

Frieza returns to Earth in a much powerful form to defeat Son Goku. While he could transform into his powerful form as Golden Frieza, Goku could also transform into a Super Saiyan Blue which matches his power.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 ends with Goku almost closer to defeat, with Vegeta trying to help him out and fights Frieza.

While it was shown in the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 27 preview released by Toei Animation that Vegeta transforms into a Blue form and surpasses Frieza's powerful attacks, Frieza is also shown unleashing an extremely powerful energy that destroys the planet Earth.

The spoilers suggested that as Resurrection F comes closer to the finish line, Champa Saga begins; a new arc that will come into view with a new story.

Champa was revealed in the manga ahead of the animated series and regular readers surely have the idea about what might come in the next episodes. "Dragon Ball Super" will return for episode 27 on January 17.
