United States Vice President Joe Biden received an offer that baffled him, financial support from his boss, President Barack Obama. The president offers such as the VP's son is facing the possibility of quitting as Delaware's attorney general due to his health issues. In a very exclusive interview from CNN, Biden recalled they way the president was concerned about his situation.

Biden said during his interview with CNN chief political analyst Gloria Borger that he had a conversation with Obama one time wherein he told the president about his anxiety towards caring for Beau's family without his son's salary. "I said, 'But I worked it out.'" Biden said about their conversation. "I said, 'But -- Jill and I will sell the house and be in good shape.'"

Then Joe Biden remembered that Barack Obama reacted on the thought of Biden ans his wife selling their home located in Wilmington, Delaware. "He got up and he said, 'Don't sell that house. Promise me you won't sell the house,'" Biden told Borger. "He said, 'I'll give you the money. Whatever you need, I'll give you the money. Don't, Joe -- promise me. Promise me.' I said, 'I don't think we're going to have to anyway.' He said, 'promise me.'"

The vice president's son beau, after diagnosed with stroke, served out his second term as Delaware's attorney general. However, after he left his office in January 2015, he grew ill with brain cancer. Beau Biden died in June.

"Thanksgiving was hard," the second-in-command said. "The idea of an empty chair, you know, was something no one looked forward to."
