&TEAM KSPO Dome Review: Blaze the Way Finale

&TEAM opened Sunday's KSPO Dome finale with "Good Boy," a side track from its newest Korean EP, then went straight into "Lunatic" and "Scent of You." No slow build, no warm-up ballad. Nine members were already in formation.

A note on vantage first. This review was not written from the floor. It draws on the Korea Herald's review of the Oct. 4 show, press accounts of the weekend and the group's own comments, which agree on the setlist. What they cannot convey is how the mix sounded or how much of the vocal was live. Read what follows as a critique of the show's design, not its audio.

The design is the strongest part. Nine people moving as close to a single unit is &TEAM's trade, and the accounts describe formations that broke apart and re-formed at speed without loosening, with energy steady through the most demanding sequences. The middle run gave that discipline the most to work with. "W.O.L.F. (Win Or Lose Fight)" and debut track "Under the Skin" led into "Mark on Me," the new EP's title track and one of the loudest responses of that stretch. "Go in Blind" had members partly blindfolded. "Bewitched" pushed harder, with K urging the crowd to get louder. That is a coherent run of concept staging, and it is the group at its most specific.

The setlist was also rebuilt for the occasion. Five songs from "Mark on Me" entered the tour for the first time at the Seoul encore shows, so the finale did not replay the earlier stops of a 14-city, 23-show Asia run that drew about 230,000 people. A 150-minute show with that many moving parts needs a spine, and the wolf imagery supplied one.

Then the show changed key. "Mismatch" and the retro-tinged "Love Letter" moved the night into something cute and light, and a surprise cover of Twice's "TT," prepared only for the KSPO Dome dates, drew some of the loudest screams of the evening. That is the show's central tension. A group whose identity runs on wolf mythology got its biggest noise from someone else's song, in a section built to be everything the wolf concept is not. A BTS "2.0" cover had already closed the first section. Contrast is good pacing. Two covers carrying the peaks is a thinner argument for who &TEAM is.

The last run pulled the identity back. "Aoarashi," "Wolf Type" and "Night to Howl!" sent the members across an extended stage, jumping with the crowd and prompting the singalong. It repairs most of the detour. It does not erase the question of which half of the night the crowd came for.

The context explains why the room mattered. KSPO Dome holds about 15,000 and often marks a group's step from rising act to top-tier performer. &TEAM was formed in Japan in 2022 by YX Labels, Hybe's Japanese label, and entered the Korean market only in 2025. "We've officially arrived at KSPO Dome after debuting four years ago," leader EJ told the audience. The numbers outside Korea point the same way: allkpop reports "Mark on Me" reached a career-high No. 4 on the UK Official Physical Singles Chart.

My assessment is 7/10, because the staging discipline and sectional pacing hold across 150 minutes, even though the night's loudest response came from a cover and the wolf identity went missing for a stretch.

The next test is smaller rooms. The "Mark on You" tour opens Oct. 15 at Tokyo Garden Theater, with early stops at theaters and cultural halls in Shizuoka and Iwate, across 41 shows in 18 Japanese cities before a return to Korea in spring 2027. The dome showed the group can fill a big room. The next 41 shows show whether this show shrinks well.

"Mark on Me" is &TEAM's second Korean EP, from Hybe's YX Labels. The "Mark on You" tour opens Oct. 15 in Tokyo.
