K-pop girl group IVE is set to make their comeback on February 23 with their second studio album "REVIVE+," continuing their streak as one of the most dominant fourth-generation acts.

Starship Entertainment confirmed the comeback date after revealing spoiler photos on IVE's official social media on January 25. The images showed all six members-An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo-in a vibrant studio setting, each showcasing their distinct style with various props and fashion elements. The release date "26.02.23" appeared written on members' arms and hands in the photos.

The comeback will feature a pre-release single "BANG BANG" dropping on February 9 at 6 PM KST, ahead of the full album release two weeks later. This marks IVE's first release in approximately six months since their fourth mini album "IVE SECRET" in August 2025.

Proven Track Record of Success

Since debuting in December 2021 with "Eleven," IVE has consistently dominated Korean music charts and sales figures. The group achieved their breakthrough with "Love Dive" in 2022, which became the best-performing single of the year and earned Song of the Year awards at multiple major ceremonies including the Golden Disc Awards, MAMA Awards, and Melon Music Awards.

Their 2025 releases continued this momentum. "REBEL HEART," the pre-release track from their third mini album "IVE EMPATHY," achieved their fifth Perfect All-Kill on Korean music charts in February 2025. The song topped real-time, daily, and Top 100 charts on all major streaming platforms including Melon, Genie, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs.

Throughout 2025, IVE collected 20 music show trophies across three singles: 11 wins for "REBEL HEART," 4 wins for "ATTITUDE," and 5 wins for "XOXZ." This brought their career total to over 70 music show wins since debut.

Seven Consecutive Million-Seller Albums

IVE has achieved million-seller status with seven consecutive albums, starting from "Love Dive" in 2022 through "IVE SECRET" in August 2025. The specific albums are:

  1. "After Like" (2022) - 1.7 million copies
  2. "I've IVE" (2023) - 1.6 million copies
  3. "I'VE MINE" (2023) - 1.6 million copies
  4. "IVE SWITCH" (2024) - 1.7 million copies
  5. "IVE EMPATHY" (2025) - over 1 million copies
  6. "IVE SECRET" (2025) - over 1 million copies
  7. "Love Dive" eventually reached million-seller status through cumulative sales

The group has become only the second girl group in Hanteo Chart history to sell over 1 million copies of four different albums during their first week of release, alongside aespa.

Award Recognition

IVE's consistent performance has earned them recognition at major industry ceremonies. At the 2025 MAMA Awards held in November, they won three awards: Favorite Global Performer, Favorite Female Group, and Global Trend Song for "REBEL HEART."

The group has accumulated awards from major Korean ceremonies including the Golden Disc Awards, Melon Music Awards, Circle Chart Music Awards, and Asia Artist Awards. They swept Rookie of the Year categories at the 2022 Genie Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, Melon Music Awards, and MAMA Awards following their successful debut year.

Global Performance

Beyond domestic success, IVE has expanded their international presence through festival performances and world tours. They became the first K-pop girl group to perform at Lollapalooza for two consecutive years, appearing at Lollapalooza Berlin and Paris in 2025 after their Lollapalooza Chicago performance in 2024. The group also performed at Rock in Japan Festival 2025.

Their second world tour "Show What I Am" began with a three-night run at Seoul's KSPO Dome in October 2025. Following their comeback promotions, the tour will continue in April 2026 starting at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, with additional stops planned across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

The IVE Sound

IVE has built their identity around themes of self-confidence and self-love, which they call their "self-assurance" concept. Their discography spans diverse musical styles while maintaining messages of empowerment and solidarity. From the energetic debut track "Eleven" to the addictive "Love Dive," the Billboard-sampling "After Like," and the empowering "REBEL HEART," each release has showcased different facets of their artistic range.

The group's five Perfect All-Kills-"After Like" (2022), "Kitsch" (2023), "I Am" (2023), "Baddie" (2023), and "REBEL HEART" (2025)-demonstrate their consistent appeal to Korean listeners. As of February 2025, only IU (22 songs) and BIGBANG (7 songs) have achieved more Perfect All-Kills in K-pop history.

With "REVIVE+" representing their second studio album and first full-length project since "I've IVE" in April 2023, expectations are high for IVE to deliver another commercially successful and critically acclaimed release. The pre-release single "BANG BANG" on February 9 will offer the first glimpse of their new musical direction.
