BTS's Jimin shared his first social media post of 2026 on January 21, treating fans to behind-the-scenes moments from his Vogue Korea February cover shoot. The candid photos showcase the singer in Dior looks, sporting blonde hair and what fans are calling his effortless "pictorial master" presence.
The images capture unposed moments on set-Jimin checking his phone on a staircase, atmospheric prop shots, and relaxed breaks between takes. Despite being behind-the-scenes content, the photos maintain the dreamlike quality of the official editorial.
Seven Covers Dominate Sales Charts
Vogue Korea released Jimin's February 2026 issue on January 9 with seven different covers, all featuring Dior exclusively. Photographer Mok Jung-Wook shot the 30-page spread titled "The Sound of Now," which Vogue described as capturing "lively delicacy, dreamlike and fairytale-like, a warm beauty."
The magazine dominated Korean bookstore rankings immediately after launch. All seven versions swept positions #1 through #7 on YES24's real-time bestseller chart, with similar performance on Aladin and Kyobo. International retailers including Japan's Qoo10 and global platform Ktown4u also reported the issue as their top seller.
Global Trending Power
The collaboration generated worldwide social media trends. Hashtags #JIMINxVOGUEKOREA and #JIMINxDIOR held top positions on X (formerly Twitter) trending lists across multiple countries for several consecutive days following the cover reveal.
This marks Jimin's second solo Vogue Korea cover, following his April 2023 appearance. The February issue includes an exclusive interview alongside the extensive photo editorial.
Post-Military Fashion Momentum
Jimin completed his mandatory military service on June 11, 2025, alongside BTS member Jungkook. Since his discharge, he's maintained an active presence as Dior's global brand ambassador-a role he's held since January 2023. He attended Dior's Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week in September 2025, marking his first major public appearance post-service.
The singer also became the ambassador for Korean haircare brand LADOR in December 2025.
BTS announced their Arirang World Tour on January 13, 2026, featuring 79 shows across 34 cities. The tour launches April 9, 2026, at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, with the group's fifth full-length album "Arirang" releasing March 20, 2026.
