Jennie J2NNI5 Photo Exhibition: BLACKPINK Star Shares Intimate Photos From Age 25
BLACKPINK's Jennie launched her debut photo exhibition J2NNI5 on January 16 at Youthquake in Seoul, displaying never-before-seen photographs from when she was 25. The two-week exhibition marks a personal milestone, opening on Jennie's 30th birthday.
Exhibition Features Work by Three Photographers
The show presents unreleased images captured by three prominent Korean photographers-Hong Jang Hyun, Shin Sun Hye, and Mok Jung Wook. These candid shots reveal unguarded moments from Jennie's 25th year, moving beyond her polished public image.
Hong Jang Hyun, who previously photographed Jennie for Calvin Klein's 2021 campaign, shared additional black-and-white exhibition photos on Instagram. The intimate portraits include images of Jennie in Calvin Klein underwear and a natural bathtub scene.
Jennie Curated Every Detail
Unlike standard celebrity exhibitions, Jennie participated in all stages of the project. She oversaw the photobook publication, exhibition planning, and spatial design. The exhibition flows through multiple spaces rather than following a traditional gallery format, ending with a behind-the-scenes video interview.
Limited Photobook Sold Out Immediately
The accompanying 692-page photobook documents Jennie's year at 25 across more than 50 concepts. Only 3,000 copies were produced globally, with purchases limited to one per person. First-edition buyers receive a certificate of authenticity and bookmark.
Exhibition tickets sold out in 40 minutes when pre-sales opened on January 9. The Tokyo pop-up at Daikanyama Tsutaya sold out even faster-within 15 minutes.
All Proceeds Go to Charity
Jennie announced that ticket sales revenue will be donated entirely to charity. This continues her philanthropic track record, which includes donations for wildfire relief and educational programs.
