Netflix October 2026 K-Dramas: Release Dates and Cast
Netflix has three K-dramas listed for Friday, Oct. 9 and a fourth for Saturday, Oct. 10. One of the four dates is disputed inside the same tracking page that lists it.
The cleanest dates belong to weekly series. Doctor X, a Korean remake of the Japanese medical drama, premieres Oct. 9 with Kim Ji Won as Kye Su Jeong, a surgeon placed at Guseo University Hospital through a doctor-placement agency. It runs 12 episodes, with new ones on Fridays and Saturdays, and is listed for release outside South Korea. 100 Days of Deception follows on Oct. 10 with Kim You Jung and Park Jin Young across 16 episodes, released Saturdays and Sundays. Its synopsis, per What's on Netflix, follows a pickpocket named Ga Kyung who goes undercover as a spy inside the Japanese Government-General of Korea during the occupation while feeding information to the independence army.
Take Charge of My Heart is the date that moved. The 12-episode rom-com stars Kim Young Kwang and Chae Soo Bin as Baek Ho Rang, who lives with a failing artificial heart, and No Bo Bae, a woman who can produce electricity and recharge it. It had been expected in late October or November. Korean outlet Joy News reported that it now lands Oct. 9, after Dead-End Job slipped, according to What's on Netflix.
Dead-End Job is the one in doubt. The eight-episode fantasy-horror-mystery stars Lee Jae Wook and Go Min Si. Lee plays Hyuk-jun, who takes a part-time job paying 50 times the usual hourly wage through a mysterious agency called Spyder Human Resource Center, and the job becomes a nightmare. The tracker's schedule table still shows Oct. 9. Its own listing for the series says the show is now rumored to move to Oct. 30, tied to its appearance at the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
The calendar also has an exit. Four Hands, Two Sonatas, the 12-episode music drama starring Song Kang and Lee Jun Young, airs its finale Oct. 4. Its Saturday and Sunday slot goes to 100 Days of Deception on Oct. 10, so a viewer who follows both watches one weekend-slot drama end and another begin within six days.
For US viewers, the count on Oct. 9 is two solid premieres, Doctor X and Take Charge of My Heart (the latter per Joy News), plus one that may not arrive. The source page is written for a UK audience, so check the US listing for each title before planning the weekend.
