Taemin LiMiNaL North America Tour Postponed: Refund Info

Taemin has postponed the entire North American leg of his LiMiNaL world tour, which was due to open in San Jose on October 12, because key members of his touring and production crew are still waiting on U.S. visas.

The SHINee member's team announced the decision Tuesday through his official social media accounts. Galaxy Corporation, his agency, confirmed the news to Korean media. The announcement came less than two weeks before the first show at the SAP Center.

All six cities are affected: San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Newark, New Jersey, and the Dallas area. The Korea Herald lists Dallas, while the Philippines' Manila Bulletin names Grand Prairie, Texas, as the stop.

"Due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding U.S. visa and related administrative processes affecting key touring and production personnel, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the scheduled North American dates of the 2026-27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR," the statement said.

The team added that a significant number of the staff needed for the North American shows are still awaiting their visas, with no clear timeline for when they will be issued. "Given the continued uncertainty surrounding the participation of essential personnel, we determined that proceeding with the tour as scheduled would carry significant operational and production risks," the statement continued, as quoted by Manila Bulletin.

The wording matters for fans holding tickets. The team described the North American leg as "an integral part" of the tour and said it will proceed on rescheduled dates. It did not cancel the leg, and it did not announce new dates or venues. Refunds for the currently scheduled shows are available on request through the original point of purchase, and the respective ticketing platforms will provide details on the refund process. The rest of the tour is unchanged, according to the Korea Herald. Taemin opened LiMiNaL with three shows in Seoul from September 18 to 20. From late October he is scheduled to perform in Monterrey and Mexico City in Mexico, then Santiago, Chile, Lima, Peru and São Paulo, Brazil. The itinerary then moves to eight countries in Europe as well as Kazakhstan.

Neither Taemin's team nor Galaxy Corporation said how many staff members are affected, which visa categories are involved, or when the applications were filed. Those details remain unconfirmed.
