The second EP arrives eight months after a debut that spent seven months building to a number that no K-pop rookie has reached this fast.

CORTIS released GREENGREEN, their second EP, today at 6 PM KST under BIGHIT MUSIC. The six-track project follows Color Outside the Lines, the group's September 2025 debut album, which BIGHIT Music confirmed last week had crossed 501 million cumulative Spotify streams as of April 29 - making it the first debut album by a boy group debuted within the last five years to hit that mark.

The timing is not a coincidence. GREENGREEN had logged 2.39 million stock pre-orders by April 30, according to distributors YG PLUS and Universal Records, putting the group in position to notch back-to-back double-million sellers before their first anniversary.

The title track "REDRED" dropped as a pre-release on April 20. The full EP adds five more tracks: "TNT," "ACAI," "YOUNGCREATORCREW," "Wassup," and "Blue Lips." All five members - Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho - participated in writing and production credits across the album, with a Los Angeles song camp serving as the primary creative session. BIGHIT Music described the album as "six tracks that most clearly capture who CORTIS are today."

The 500 million stream figure carries additional context in the US market specifically. CORTIS built its American audience through a path that few K-pop acts have attempted: NBA integration before radio play. In February, the group became the first K-pop act to headline the NBA Crossover Concert Series at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, then performed at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game halftime show - also a first for a K-pop group. Their track "Mention Me," an insert song from Sony Pictures Animation's upcoming film GOAT starring and co-produced by Stephen Curry, received its live debut at the same event. According to BIGHIT Music, the United States accounts for the largest share of the debut album's Spotify listener base.

The group's debut EP had also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 15, making CORTIS the only K-pop rookie act of 2025 to reach that chart position.

GREENGREEN is their first release since that debut run. Whether the pre-order trajectory translates into chart performance will become clear later this week, when Billboard updates its tracking.
