NCsoft Showcases Limit Zero Breakers at Paris Games Week 2025 with Playable Demo
NCsoft is bringing its anime-inspired action RPG Limit Zero Breakers to Paris Games Week, one of Europe's premier gaming conventions. The event runs from October 30 to November 2, 2025, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
European Debut for Anime-Style RPG
Developed by VIC Game Studios and published by NCsoft, Limit Zero Breakers will offer European attendees their first hands-on experience with the game. The booth will feature playable raid content-cooperative multiplayer battles-on PC, alongside information about 11 playable characters.
Last year's Paris Games Week drew over 180,000 visitors, making it France's largest gaming showcase. This appearance follows the game's successful showing at Tokyo Game Show in September, where it received positive feedback from Japanese players.
What Players Can Expect
Limit Zero Breakers centers on a team of adventurers called "Breakers" who explore the shattered world of Seraphia aboard their airship, the Weaverwhale. Players hunt massive monsters through ancient dungeons while searching for the legendary Archives of the Gods-a vault rumored to grant any wish.
The game features real-time combat with dodge mechanics, parrying, and counterattacks. A special Break Mode activates cinematic finishing moves, while an elemental reaction system lets players combine character abilities for powerful combos. Up to three players can team up for cooperative raid encounters.
Part of Multimedia Strategy
NCsoft has partnered with Japanese studios MAPPA and Kadokawa to expand Limit Zero Breakers beyond gaming into anime, manga, novels, and merchandise. This transmedia approach targets markets with strong anime fandoms, particularly France and Japan.
VIC Game Studios, founded in 2020, previously developed Black Clover Mobile. The studio focuses on creating anime-style RPGs with emphasis on animation quality and emotional storytelling.
Release Plans
Limit Zero Breakers is scheduled for global release in 2026 on PC (via Steam and NCsoft's PURPLE platform) and mobile devices (iOS and Android). The free-to-play title will support cross-platform play with Japanese voice acting and subtitles in Korean, English, and Traditional Chinese.
Post-launch, NCsoft plans to add new characters every three weeks, with six months of content updates already in development.
The game represents NCsoft's push into the subculture market, expanding beyond its traditional MMORPG portfolio that includes Lineage, Guild Wars, and Throne and Liberty. It's part of the company's 2026 lineup alongside Aion 2, Cinder City, and Time Takers.
