BTS Jin Becomes Choeaedol's 813th Charity Fairy: Fans Donate $10,800 in His Name

BTS member Jin achieved his 24th Charity Fairy designation on the idol voting app Choeaedol, marking 12,000 days since his birth with overwhelming fan support that triggered another charitable donation.

Fan Voting Triggers Charitable Milestone

On October 11, Jin secured over 56.8 million hearts from global fans on Choeaedol, earning him the platform's coveted Charity Fairy status. This achievement adds 500,000 KRW ($453) to the Milal Welfare Foundation, raising Jin's total platform donations to 12 million KRW ($10,800).

Choeaedol awards Charity Fairy status to idols receiving more than 55.5 million votes during special occasions like birthdays or anniversary dates. The platform then makes charitable contributions in the idol's name to organizations supporting people with disabilities.

Jin previously earned this recognition on July 3 for his 11,900-day anniversary, demonstrating consistent fan engagement across multiple milestone celebrations.

Supporters worldwide marked the occasion by creating special banners in Jin's Choeaedol community and trending multiple hashtags including #12000DaysWithJin and #석진탄생12000일축하축하 across social media platforms.

Record-Breaking Solo Tour Performance

Following his May 16 release of second mini-album "Echo," Jin completed his inaugural solo concert tour spanning 18 sold-out shows across nine cities from June 28 through August 10. The #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR visited venues in South Korea, Japan, the United States, and Europe.

Jin became the first Asian solo artist to surpass $30 million in gross revenue and 200,000 attendance on Billboard's monthly touring charts. His Osaka Kyocera Dome performances on July 12-13 generated $9.6 million, establishing the highest single-venue boxscore for any K-pop soloist worldwide.

Industry publication Pollstar ranked Jin 14th on their October 11 "Top 20 Global Concert Tours" report, averaging $2.74 million per city-the highest position for any Asian solo performer. Rolling Stone UK awarded his tour five stars, describing him as "a rare performer whose live vocals match his emotional depth".

Jin will conclude his tour with encore performances at Incheon Munhak Stadium on October 31 and November 1.
