What BLACKPINK’s Rosé Did To Become A K-Pop Idol Is Both Adorable & Wholesome

Who would have thought that BLACKPINK's Rosé almost did not become a part of YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK? Initially, Rosé's parents did not support her with her dreams of becoming a K-pop idol. What BLACKPINK's Rosé did to convince them will put you in awe.

BLACKPINK's Rosé uploaded a video on her YouTube page entitled "Thank you for loving -R-" on the 15th of May, and she talked about her appreciation for fans, and she also shared a meal with her parents.

As BLACKPINK's Rosé and her parents were eating a meal, Rosé's mom remembered the time the BLACKPINK vocalist initially brought up what she wanted to be in the future; a singer. In the beginning, Rosé's parents were not on board with the idea.

Rosé's mom mentioned, "Do you remember? How we were all against the idea when said she wanted to become a singer?"

BLACKPINK's Rosé responded by saying that, "I actually really did not want to become a singer at first."

In the beginning, even BLACKPINK's Rosé did not want to be a singer after all, but Rosé's mom mentioned how the vocalist one day changed her mind.

"Yes but one day out of nowhere, which was completely out of the blue, you said you were going to become a singer," Rosé's mom added.

Additionally, Rosé's dad even recalled how hard BLACKPINK's Rosé tried to convince her parents of her change of heart. Not doing this alone, BLACKPINK's Rosé brought her three friends along with her and began dancing in front of Rosé's parents.

Rosé's dad notably said, "And you did not just say it, you even brought three friends with you and started doing and making dance moves."

Eventually, BLACKPINK's Rosé, along with her friends, ultimately swayed her parent's decision. Due to this, Rosé's parents gave her permission to audition for a K-Pop entertainment agency because they wanted Rosé to have good memories.

Rosé's dad chimed in by saying, "So we thought it would be great for you to try out in an audition for a K-pop agency since it was your dream. But we had no expectations at all. Just so you can keep it as a good memory, we wanted to leave you with a really good memory."
