"Valkyria Chronicles" will be coming to the PS4 soon, according to VG247.

"Valkyria Chronicles" started out on the PlayStation 3 and was developed by Sega. It was an action-strategy game that focused on military war. The unique engine of the game which makes 3D models have 2D design made it popular.

Due to its popularity, the game franchise has spawned different games like "Valkyria Chronicles 2" and "Valkyria Chronicles 3" on the PlayStation Portable. "VC1" and "VC2" was localized but "VC3" never left Japanese shores. "VC1" came to the PC via Steam and it has gotten a lot of fans ever since.

Information was compiled and translated by Gematsu from the latest issue of the popular Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, and it states that the remaster will be launched for PlayStation 4 in Japan. The release date will be on Feb. 10 next year and it will come with all of the downloadable contents and trophies, according to Gamespot.

The new "Valkyria Chronicles" sequel will be called "Valkyria: Azure Revolution" for PlayStation 4, according to Siliconera. The translation from Famitsu said that the new "Valkyria Chronicles" sequel will not be the same with the usual "Valkyria Chronicles" game franchise. The story will be a tale of revolution.

In addition, the protagonist of the sequel is called Amleth, a commanding officer and the heroine is Ophelia, a princess of a small country called Uteland. The villain is Brynhildr, a Valkyria from the enemy empire called Rus Empire.

The sequel will have a new battle system called "LeGION," according to Kotaku. The battles will be in real time, but there will simulation or strategy elements as well.

This new "Valkyria Chronicles" sequel will be on PS4 and it will be released in the fall of 2016 in Japan. There is still no word that it will be released or localized for the west, according to sources.
