Now, reports have revealed how the "Descendants of the Sun" actor won the heart of his leading lady despite being so busy with his showbiz commitments.

HelloKPop shared that Song Joong Ki is just a normal guy who would do everything for his one and only love. According to the news outlet, the "Battleship Island" actor's love for Song Hye Kyo was tested through time.

It was confirmed that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have become friends even before "Descendants of the Sun" started airing. However, the pair has developed a much deeper relationship when they started filming for the popular Korean series.
