The long wait is over! Despite being previously scheduled to take place on November 20, 2020, APAN Music Awards will be happening this January 24.

For this year, the long-awaited APAN Music Awards will be hosted by South Korean singer and entertainer Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min.

Prior to the ceremony, winners for various categories have been announced. Based on the official announcement, Kang Daniel snagged the most awards, including "Best Male Solo" for both global and domestic category as well as "APAN Top 10 Bonsang," "Best Performance," and "KT Seezn Star Award - Singer."

Meanwhile, the global K-Pop boy group BTS received the most nominations. The superstars from BigHit Entertainment won the "Best Group Male Domestic Award" while BTS member, V, won the "Best OST" for "Sweet Night," which is the OST of the Netflix series "Itaewon Class."

The APAN Music Awards 2020 includes a stunning lineup of artists but what caught the fans' fancy was the confirmation that GOT7 will be performing at the awards ceremony. GOT7 was included in the winners for the Top 10 K-Pop Artists of APAN Music Awards. Moreover, GOT7's leader, JB, was given the "Best All-Rounder Award."

Earlier this week, the contract of GOT7 with JYP Entertainment expired. Since then, GOT7 member Youngjae was confirmed to sign with Sublime Artist Agency, while Yugyeom joined Jay Park's AOMG. The other GOT7 members are also reported to focus on their own solo careers, with Jinyoung in talks with BH Entertainment for his acting ventures and Bambam in talks with MAKEUS Entertainment.
